Carrot, pumpkin, kumara & baby rice recipe

A wholesome meal for babies using seasonal winter vegetables.


  • Olive oil
  • 1 small piece of pumpkin
  • 1/2 kumara
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 pack of Only Organic Baby Rice

Step 1

Peel vegetables and cut into small pieces. Sauté the vegetables in a little olive oil for a few minutes then cover with water and bring to the boil.

Step 2

Simmer, until the vegetables are tender. Drain, putting the cooking water to one side.

Step 3

Puree the vegetables, adding the cooking water until you have a smooth, runny puree. Stir in the Baby Rice.
