Another success!
Thursday, August 18th, 2011
Healthy Start just posted that they had some printer cartridges from a non-working printer available and, boom, the Keys office of The Nature Conservancy office took them — with great delight. Printer cartridges are expensive and it was wonderful that TNC could get these and ReUse them. Much better than tossing them in the landfill or even than sending them back to the manufacturer.
I love it.

Hurricane season preparation
Tuesday, May 31st, 2011
Many of us finally get around to cleaning out underneath the house or removing stuff from the yard in anticipation of hurricane season. It’s important to get rid of items that are no longer needed because these can become small missiles in hurricane force winds.
When you’re cleaning up, think of the non-profits listed on KeysReuse.com. These groups might be able to put your excess stuff to good use. So, as our mantra says, don’t throw it away, give it away.
