Have you checked KeysReuse.com lately?

You should. Several of our groups have updated their items and you might have just what they need. For example, Reef  Relief needs unused dive equipment. Many people in the Keys no longer use their fins or tanks and keep them in storage for “someday.” And the Marathon Wild Bird Center added many new things such as bungie cords and cable ties. New member Independence Cay needs a wide range of things, many of which you may no longer need.

Hurricane season is a perfect time to go through all that junk under your house or in storage closets and donate what you no longer use or need to a Keys non-profit.  You’ll get rid of stuff that you’d otherwise have to secure, they’ll get items they could really use, and the landfill will get nothing!
